Potential Students - Including Interns
Georgia Tech Students:
Potential students who are interested in joining the lab for undergraduate research (course credit or paid), internships (paid and unpaid), and graduate positions are encouraged to email Professor Smith.
Graduate Students:
Potential students who are interested in joining the lab should apply through the official Georgia Institute of Technology process. U.S. students who are interested in joining the lab can email Prof. Smith directly to request a phone interview and a visit to Campus. No graduate school or lab admission decisions are made via email.
Due to the volume of emails, unfortunately email requests from students outside the US inquiring if there are positions available cannot be answered due to the volume of emails.
Internships:
U.S. students in an engineering program in the US can apply for paid or unpaid summer internships via email. Students should have a minimum of a 3.0 and have experience with computing.
Applications for internships from outside the United States will not be considered without a recommendation from an advisor, who should initiate the email request. These internships are very limited and are without pay. Unfortunately, due to the volume of emails from non US students requesting internships, emails from students outside the US not be answered.
